When we checked in our room was not made up from previous guests. We were going to leave and request a refund.The hotel was booked and the area hotels seemed to be full as well. It soon became apparent that Cynthia was the only staff in the hotel. So we waited while she cleaned the room. In the meantime other guests came to ask for towels because they hadn't gotten any. Two guests reported that when they checked in someone else was in their room. I don't know who would have been responsible for that mix up. And the phone was ringing a lot.
Cynthia kept her cool, she was patient and courteous while having a terrible lot to deal with. Management needs to step up.
The hotel is old , carpeting old, place needs attentions. And there is no elevator.
