"My 10 day stay at PortD’Hiver B&B was a real pleasure. Great location, great rooms , great breakfasts, great staff, and quite possibly the best cookies I’ve ever had !! 😊 I only wish they had a restaurant on the premises, but there are several within a short walking distance. "The pictures in the add were false. There weren’t any gardens or suites. This is a bare bones motel. It is clean but there are no amenities. There is a coffee pot but no coffee. There was a refrigerator but no ice cube trays. One towel and one washcloth per guest and a teeny bar of soap. No one in the office —had to call a number and then someone came to give you your key. Steep outside steps if your room was on the second floor. The only mirror was above the sink. Very disappointed."

The bathroom wall had a hole on it and it was just bad. I do not recommend it it says breakfast included, but I did not see any breakfast. I just saw a thermal of coffee by the entrance. But even if there was breakfast there, I would not eat it and if you’re not a smoker, please do not stay there because that’s all you going to...

"From check in to check out this place was great. I met the owners when checking in and I’m pretty sure I made new friends for life. The room was huge, clean, and comfortable. Sitting right on the beach, I’m not sure how you find a better place than Tuckaway."
