"The whole place needs refurbishment. Beds and bedding was clean but everything else looked about 40 years old. Burn holes in the carpet, cigarette burns on the edge of the bath, wooden fittings in poor condition etc. They have no kitchen (being refurbished?) so no food on the premises. The website does not make that clear."

"Apart from my room which was warm and comfortable but lacked a bath towel, with only a shampoo and a very little round soap being provided, the whole place seemed sad and lonely.
