It feels like it’s in the middle of the quaintest tiny villages but Hartford is under 30 minutes away and New Haven was an easy 45 minutes. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. "We were traveling for a softball tournament and didn’t get to use many of the amenities. It was challenging that breakfast started at 7am instead of 6 am, but Dewayne was very helpful at finding a solution. Our room was clean and spacious. Only improvement would be a luggage rack."

"My AC was not working. I got to my room, and the temperature had to be at least 85 degrees. The AC unit was blowing out hot air. When I complained about the issue I was told "some people like the rooms warm. They told me they would send up someone to fix the problem and they never showed up. Fortunately, it was a cool day and I could open the window partially, and I was able to turn the AC off. Another positive was I only stayed one night. The hotel was full, so a room change was not possible."

"Stayed here one night while son was at Quinnipiac Orientation. Exceptionally friendly check-in staff with a bright and welcoming lobby area. The lobby is spacious with natural light and plenty of comfortable seats. Several large screen TVs between lobby and restaurant as well. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. I used the fitness center twice and it’s very clean with a direct view of the pool area. Breakfast and dinner were sit-down service and very tasty. Will definitely stay here again."
