"The perfect stay! Great and friendly staff, clean and quiet room and also great size room and bed. Lastly, location was amazing, in a local neighborhood with two supermarkets across, lots of coffee shops, restaurants, pharmacy and about 5 direct stops on the metro to the airport and all major attractions. I will stay again and recommend to my friends."

"Our room was with a queen size bed while we asked for two seperate beds, they have changed it to a better room with two seperate beds in the next day, but it was very hard communication with the office staff because it was just by email, I saw the office staff just once in 5 days staying there in their time schedule. Cleaning staff were nice and helpful as much as possible. The bathroom lock was broken and wasn't closable! Following the price rate, it was a fair inn in total."

"Room temperature was comfortable, black out curtains great. Nice size room. Loved the garden across the hall. Continental breakfast was amazing, attendant was very accommodating. Was my husband’s birthday and we got a letter from staff which he got a real kick from. The front desk recommended a private tour of the palaces which exceeded our expectations. James of Black taxis was amazing and so knowledgeable of all the history dating back hundreds of years. Took us on sightseeing we never would have experienced with the other tours. Was our photographer for the whole day, got great pictures. Tons of dining options with within feet of the hotel. Best stay ever. "

"We stayed here for the new year, and overall had a good experience, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of, and the staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay easy and pleasant. The only downside was the location; while Arroios is a decent and quieter area, it’s a bit far from Lisbon’s main attractions, so getting around required extra time and transportation, which was a little inconvenient, especially for a shorter trip."

"My family and I had an extremely disappointing experience at Evolution Hotel in Lisbon, and I would not recommend it to anyone.To begin with, the bathroom design is poorly executed and borderline unsafe. The shower is cramped, with almost no space to move, and the floor is uneven and excessively slippery, creating a genuine hazard. The wall-mounted holder was broken, causing toiletries to fall repeatedly, which was both frustrating and unacceptable. The glass doors for both the shower and toilet constantly shifted, adding to the discomfort. The entire bathroom layout feels impractical—separating key areas instead of creating a cohesive, functional space. While the “futuristic” design may appeal to some, it is far from comfortable and completely unsuitable for anyone with claustrophobia. Even basic features like adequate knee space in the toilet area were neglected. The elevator system was equally frustrating. The requirement to scan a card is poorly indicated, and the system itself is inefficient and confusing. A simple trip to the lobby turned into a pointless journey across multiple floors. The room door was another issue—it did not close properly without being forced. A hotel room door should function smoothly, not require effort from multiple people to shut. Additionally, the lack of proper sound insulation made it impossible to rest. Noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms was constant, making it unsuitable for light sleepers. Basic amenities, Lackin,no ice buckets."
