"What an excellent hotel in a quiet neighborhood, and readily accessible via the metro (the Barrio de Concepción train station is only a 7-10 minute walk away) and the bus (the 21 bus only 25 feet from the hotel entrance). The hotel does have a ramp for anyone who cannot do stairs (or is lugging giant suitcases, like we did). The room was spacious, and well designed. Super clean, too. Plenty of room to unpack and unwind. The breakfast buffet is among the best I've had, if not the best. Also 24/7 coffee bar and water station. There's also free beer and wine available, in addition to juice and tea. Tapas are available in the afternoon, though we did not take advantage as we were out and about all day. The staff is super polite and helpful. They provided us with recommendations to explore Madrid, how to get there (via public transit), and even arranged a taxi for us on the day we left. We loved the hotel so much we'll be returning there to close out our time in Madrid. Highly recommend this place!"

"La estadía en el Hotel ILUNION Atrium fue una experiencia frustrante que no refleja los estándares que uno espera de un hotel de este nivel. En dos días consecutivos se solicitó jabón líquido de baño a la habitación. Nadie respondió. Se bajó personalmente al front desk a reiterarlo, y aun así, nunca lo llevaron. Tres intentos para recibir un artículo de higiene básico que debería estar en la habitación sin necesidad de pedirlo. A eso se suma la falta de opciones de alimentación en horario nocturno, lo cual resulta ser un inconveniente real para huéspedes con itinerarios activos o llegadas tardías. Pero lo que más impactó fue la actitud del personal: indiferente, poco empática, como si el huésped fuera una molestia. En hotelería, el servicio no es un plus, es el producto. Y en ese aspecto, este hotel falló. No se recomienda."

"Overall, my stay at the property was great. First the good things, the location is good close to most of the major attractions. The rooms are very nice. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the food in the restaurant is as good as any of the restaurants in the city, there was only two things that weren’t great the housekeeping staff didn’t really clean the room too well daily they would forget to refill the coffee and change out the coffee cups, and would even leave used room service plates in the room. also one other thing I was on the sixth floor and there was some loud noise above my room all night long. I don’t know what it was. It did not prevent me from sleeping much, but perhaps that should be looked at. "

"Excellent hotel, perfect for a family trip as was very big and bedrooms were seperate. A little bit away from city centre, but metro station across the road and only 20 minutes to centre. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby so all good."

"Todo muy bien. Estaba a 5 minutos caminando de la estación de metro (Quintana), que te conectaba con la Gran Vía. La habitación es pequeña, estaba muy limpia y tenía secadora, lo cual fue muy útil. El personal fue muy amable, nos permitió dejar nuestras maletas después del check in."

"The hotel was a fabulous break for our City Break. Located out of the centre, but totally accessible via the Metro, which was also so easy to use. Lots of local shops and eateries near by. The hotel was really clean, although I did feel the rooms were a little on the dated side (especially the bathroom) but as I have said, you cannot fault the cleanliness of the place. The breakfast was great, perfect selection and all really fresh - especially the orange juice. If you are looking for a great base to explore Madrid without the hefty price tag book it, as you wont be disappointed "
