"This will be my one & only stay at this motel. I wasn't expecting much, but I was nervous about sleeping here. Stains on the floor, walls & shower curtain left me with trepidations. The toilet was frightening because not only the toilet seat move, the ENTIRE commode did as well! Also, I've never had place that wanted to charge EXTRA for a late checkout of 2 hrs.... UNACCEPTABLE!
The only good attributes are that it's near great public transportation & close the airport.

"This is the second and the last time I stay at the Palmer. I like the proximity to certain landmarks and the beds were comfy but other than that, the bathroom wasn't clean, there was a lot of hair in the tub, the shower faucet handle was filled with black scum on the inside. There was also a piece undone metal on the bottom of the vanity that scraped my kid's foot. There was no complimentary coffee/tea which added to the disappointment. I was too tired to ask for a different room with 2 kids...

"Exceeded my expectations. We were traveling with a toddler and a service animal and the stay couldn’t have been better. Incredibly attentive and personable bell staff and doormen. Impeccably clean. Rooms are formatted well for families. Excellent location on a quieter street off the Magnificent Mile. Will 100% be staying here again on future trips to the city."

"Fantastic location to walk around Chicago, right in the centre- perfect! However outside noise was very loud! Singers on the street, fire trucks, cars blasting music at all hours is the downside (windows aren’t double glazed). But location made up for it! Roof top bar was very crowded all the time with no special area for guests."
