Great place to visit and eat even if you aren't staying there. Amazing fireplaces inside made of giant boulders.
A nice terrace at Grove Park Inn. Great thing is that it is open to the outdoors but because of the heaters on the edge one barely feels any of the cold of winter other than the occasional breeze that blows inside but that breeze just makes it feel nicer. Great views of Asheville especially in evening. As well as the surrounding mountains and the sunsets.
