"Great breakfast menu, spacious rooms, lovely spa area."

"Nothing Grand about this hotel,arrived after a long journey from France,no parking available on-site had to park on site road which ment we had get up early next day to move the car by 9.We were also told we'd have to pay £5 if we wanted to park at the hotel.I was'nt aware there was a charge.We booked a double room but was given room 510 which was a family room.The window handle was broken so it did'nt shut,the window vent would'nt stay closed and it was blowing a gale outside so the room was cold.We did have a heater in the room but we had to keep resetting it because it kept switching off.The quilt's on the bed's were very thin we ended up using all the quilt's in the room to sleep.There was hot water in the bathroom sink but bath and shower no hot water just luke warm.There was an old sink plug which someone had stuck onto the sink and another one just loose by the tap's.Very dissatified customer."

"Hotel staff were amazing. Dinner was great. Now the negatives. There was a huge coach party staying over. The dining area was out of bounds for usual guests and signs were up to say 2 larger areas were reserved. The bar area itself only has a few tables so there was no where for other guests to sit. The bar area needs additional tables and get rid of the piano. I asked about seating to the waitress, she said for other guests the bar would stop taking food orders from 7-8. So I ordered in time, I chased my food 45 minutes later. The ticket hadn’t printed, but it came out quickly after this. Why didn’t reception tell me about the coach part my or that we need to order before 7. Other negatives the door swipe card kept playing up so had to visit reception 3 times for a new card. But I think the reader is faulty room 208. Also in my room randomly sticking out of the floor was a capped off pipe. I discovered it with my toe early this morning. Whilst staff were exceptional and dinner was when I got it. I would not stay here again!! "

"Staff efficient and make you feel very welcomed. Breakfast : amazing and no extra cost. Room : very clean and quiet. Bed excellent quality . Love the small SMEG fridge . Lot of suckets, TV : not need secret code ... Just perfect !"

"Always helpful staff, but watch out for the parking company who take forever to cancel their over active parking fines! Especially when booked into the hotel and provided evidence. It took them nearly a month to cancel their fine and because of this my car hire company charged me £50 admin fee for the parking fine!"
