"This was a very comfortable place to stay, conveniently situated right in the heart of Melrose. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast excellent."

"There was a large party downstairs (floor below) on the Saturday night we stayed there. Music from DJ was very loud and pounding/felt in our room until after midnight preventing sleep. The Restaurant was unavailable due to the party. I wouldn’t recommend booking a room on this property when the downstairs facilities are booked in this way."

"Great staff at this lovely hotel. Views are stunning. Activities to suit all. Very close to Peebles town centre. Plenty of food options. Room was very comfortable and super clean."

"Clean room, staff were helpful & friendly. Breakfast was delicious, although the menu wasn't offered everyday, which had alternative choices on it. We had an evening meal there, which was amazing. Drinks a bit expensive though. Rooms are spacious & clean."

"The accommodation itself was nice and we had a good meal in Charlie’s. We were disappointed to find out that the spa was an additional £65 per person and didn’t think that was overly clear when we booked as otherwise we would’ve picked a different option. Regardless, we paid it after we the facilities were listed and frustrated to find out one of the saunas were out of order. We were celebrating our ‘mini-moon’ and overall we were a bit disappointed with the experience and value for money."
