"Ignore Karen’s review! Don’t be afraid to stay here. This is a lovely, quirky place. Super clean. Quiet. Check in was a breeze. There were two people waiting for us when we arrived and someone carried everything upstairs for us. It was a great place to stop overnight. We stayed on the top floor in a very big, pretty room that fit five (we were 4). Shared bathroom, but we were the only ones upstairs, so no big deal. The little black cat is super friendly and likes a little love. The chickens...

"I can’t fault the Sure Hotel in Lockerbie. A beautiful building, fantastic en suite room, very clean and modern. Or host, the manager Glen couldn’t have been more helpful. Plenty of free secure parking and we ended up taking a lovely stroll into Lockerbie for dinner. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel, great staff who are so helpful. We’ll definitely be going again. "

"Good location near the motor way. Food is good near the stay as it is a welcome break but limited options. Room was good neat and tidy. But there is no water available. Tap water is not good for drinking lots of chlorine or other chemicals. Also the bath area was slippery so make sure the area is not wet before you stand for a shower. Overall I do recommend the place because of the convenience of location and beauty of the place nearby."
