As we tried to follow the unhelpful directions to room 230 offered by an impatient clerk, we approached a crumbling cement stairwell where a huge pile of vomit was gathering flies. A foot away, a broken shopping cart filled with garbage, including a hauntingly broken infant carseat, blocked the passage. We stepped around these, following the non-consecutively numbered doors - each covered with layers of greasy dirt and trash underfoot. ...

"We have stayed at the BML numerous times over a span of four years. We originally found the BML through Expedia and have been returning every time we are in the Berkshires. We keep returning for two simple reasons: #1- the pristine condition of the property and our individual room (and we’ve stayed in many different rooms) #2- the value - the cost to stay at the BML is very good considering for excellent condition of the property and its proximity to all that the Berkshires have to offfer"

"Best that can be said is that it was clean. The shower was ok. No on-site staff, we had to check in using a Ring doorbell and bad phone connection. The baseboard heat control required me to get on the floor and crawl into the corner of the room behind the fridge. And the room didn’t look at all like the picture on Expedia. Stay here if you have no other choice."

"The space was very nice and very clean. No issues there. However, I reserved for three adults and there were no linens for the sofa bed. Thankfully, our daughter had blankets in her car. When we went to the registration area, no one was on site. (This property is accessed via codes that come in a text or email.). I'm not sure I would go back."

"There was no Hot Water for washing or showers. I talked to the staff and they said it would be fixed right away, it never was. It’s hard totakeacold shower after a hot day touring. The place was being remodeled. I think it should have been closed. The muddy parking area was hard on your shoes. Only one elevator was operable. We waited 10 minutes to get down from the 8th floor. It was scary if there was an emergency it would have been a disaster. Not Good!!"

"The location was good since it was close to Lenox and tangle wood. Ample parking space. Clean but you have to ask for your room to be made up. The aesthetics were poor. The hotel was one long semi sphere perched on the side of the highway. It was an impersonal hotel with nothing memorable. The staff were competent. The hotel grounds provided no protection for either rain or severe heat."

"Room was no smoking room and smelled like cigarettes. Huge stain on chair and couch in room. 2 pillows on each bed, super flat. Linens on bed were thin, no comforter. Called front desk to ask for extra pillows, they said they didn't have access to any linens "after hours". Asked for pull out cot so one person could sleep alone in 2 person bed due to back issues, stated they did not allow roll outs/cots even when we offered to pay extra. Price was outrageous for lack of amenities, no...

"Be careful - this property charges your credit card for the stay when you check in online, after you’ve already paid Expedia. It is very difficult to reach a responsible individual/manager to resolve the billing dispute, and they haven’t been responsive to Expedia either."
