"Multiple faults located in my room which photographic evidence has been obtained cleaning should have been much better than what I found the room in I had to be moved into another room on another level there was constant knocking and banging from fellow neighbours totally disgusting and disgraceful I will not be booking with you again "

"Welcoming staff on reception, speedy check in , good sized very clean room. The close proximity to Terminal 2 meant it’s a perfect choice for an early morning flight."

"This is the third time staying here… mainly only stay here because of its location. And if you can get it for a good price, On this visit, there was a kettle but no cups or tea coffee making facilities. Beds are hit and miss if you get a comfortable one. The ground floor room near reception are noisy, with people coming and going all night, generally tired place that needs investment. Check in/out quick and straight forward. Staff friendly enough. Good facilities near by."

"We stayed for 1 night whilst in Buxton to see a show at The Opera House. Our usual hotel was fully booked so though we’d try The Old Hall. The accommodation areas are bordering on dilapidated. Characterful no longer applies. We spoke to other guests and they found the same with one even without a working shower. Major staff shortage. The breakfast area was ok but 5 members of staff had rung in sick ( including the manager, which suggests low morale ) so the food etc was in short supply. The 2 on...

"Check in was painful with the need to scan s Qr code and fill in a form when all our details are already on the system when we booked. No tea making facilities in rooms. Staff wete great but big queues due to mobile registration. What happens if there is someone who doesn't do mobile qr codes? "

"We stayed here for the weekend whilst visiting Manchester for a concert. I was very impressed, they had 2 weddings receptions during our stay and we heard nothing! The room was clean, spacious twin beds, teapigs tbags and bottled water. Staff were friendly, a great stay."

"Room was ok . Dull dark decor and v small television. Table light worked but wonky and carpet threadbare in some areas . Clean . Check in was not very welcoming , lady seemed rushed and no pleasantries . Asked for more milk which didn’t get . Meal in the evening was good . Sticky toffee sauce was more like weak caramel. Decided not to stay the night so returned home so can’t comment on breakfast. Staff serving meal v good . "
