"Great location! Staff is great and welcoming, rooms are clean and had everything we needed. Unfortunately there were a lot of kids at the property the first 2 days (Easter weekend) which made it impossible to relax at the pool, so we didn't even try. Also, little children with floaties just don't belong in the hot tub! One more suggestion, if the hotel is not fully booked, rooms right next to each other shouldn't be occupied if avoidable. The walls are paper thin! Between an alarm clock beeping...

"Small, quiet hotel with a fantastic location in the Arts District. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Bed was comfortable and the shower is great. I did wish that the hotel had a gym. One thing to keep in mind is First Friday, which is a loud street festival that takes place on the first Friday of every month. If your room faces Main you will hear it. We managed to fall asleep by 11, though. I would stay at this hotel again without question. "

Unfortunately, our experience with the front desk staff was not great. They often seemed to be in a bad mood and were not very welcoming. When we asked for recommendations on nearby restaurants or places to visit, they were not helpful and came across as rude and somewhat condescending. I believe front desk staff should be friendly and able to guide guests...

The key point for me was that it was advertised as having a 'kitchen', but there was no stove. I had counted on being able to cook (for a child with major dietary constraints).
