"Staff were so friendly and helpful. Castle grounds were nice. Castle itself was nice as well. There is currently scaffolding covering one side. There was a wedding there so we couldn't go into the library cuz it was reserved for them. "
"The property was a way out from Edinburg but easily accessible from the Tram at Ingliston park and Ride. The hotel offers a shuttle to the tram at specific times. The hotel is very nice with a beautiful spa and the staff was extremely accommodating. "
"Really nice hotel with a lot of character. Nice large room with a large en-suite. Good breakfast ( although i never did get any eggs) it was always empty and told they were coming. Nice bar with good selection of draught beer. Nice outdoor seating areas.Has local bus stop right at hotel to get into town center. Being an older hotel there is no elevator and has quite a few stairs to climb.Overall still worth staying to get the location and helpful staff."
"We really enjoyed the beer garden in the afternoon. The wait staff at the bar, dinner and breakfast were very good. The room was a little small but very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice too. We’d definitely recommend this hotel."
"The space was unuque and beautiful. Definite old world charm. The staff was helpful with suggestions, and friendly. The common spaces were very nice. I would say the room is good for sleeping, but just be aware they are very tiny rooms. It was exactly what we needed, but if I wanted to stay at a place where I'd be in my room a lot I would probably choose something else. But since my room was just for sleeping I would stay here again because I liked all the other spaces. "

"What a beautiful property with a gorgeous room! We also enjoyed the extra rooms: library, music, etc. They were decorated very nice; we felt like we were staying in a castle! The staff were helpful and professional. The beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked. A perfect place to stay about 10 minutes drive from a park and ride into Edinburgh."

"The woman running the hotel, I think her name was Mrs. Chan, was so wonderful and kind my whole stay. The place was sooo clean and comfortable and in a great location. Cannot stress enough how welcomed and taken care of I felt by the staff. Breakfast was soooo amazing as well. Would definitely recommend and stay again. "
