"I think it all has to do with expectations. I think the main problem was it just lacked basic hotel items. No water kettle, no rubbish bin in the room, you had to pay for a coffee or tea yet there was no way to get any - same with water, luckily you can just drink the tap water.
I think overall it would be a 5/5 if the hotel was rated 3 stars and was about 100 euros less a night"
"We found this hotel to meet all needs except one. The room was clean and of average standard. Dinner in the restaurant was very nice and the staff were great. The only thing was the wifi in the room was pretty much non existent. We sat in the hallway where the wifi worked slowly. Other than the wifi this was a comfortable over night stay and would stay again if passing this way."
"Highly recommend staying at this beautiful family-run hotel. It’s simple but exactly what we needed for a comfortable place to stay during our summer hiking trip in the Dolomites. The location was perfect for many of the hikes we wanted to do and they have a car park opposite the hotel so it’s ideal if you have a car. The owner and all the staff are so welcoming and friendly. I’d stay here again."
"Unbelievable hotel. The property was unique and had everything we needed..gym (small, but efficient), bar and restaurant) it was also central to our excursions as we did many hikes in the region. There were a lot of bikers staying so I assume it was great terrain for them as well. If you’re staying in the Dolomites, I would highly recommend this place. Shout out to Armand who took care of us at the bar!"
"Restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful. Food is amazing. Front desk staff is professional and courteous.
Also, we were given shuttle rides to the Campolongo Ski slope every day. Our driver is dedicated, friendly and so reliable, always there to take us to the slope, help with the skis or luggage.
Overall a great experience. "
