"We loved our short stay on the property which is convenient to the Paso Robles wine country. You need a car to get around - it's not in walking distance of shops or restaurants. It's not super fancy but was a novel place to spend a night or two on a last minute trip to the wine country. Trailers are a little weathered but cute, clean and comfortable. Portable (flushing) toilets on the property are clean and have basins for washing your hands. We didn't try the showers. The shared camp kitchen...

"In many ways, you know exactly what to expect with a Motel 6: the rooms are cheap because they don't spend a lot on the furnishings, or stock your room with a mini-bar, or offer free cookies at check-in. TL:DR - request one of the updated rooms for the most comfortable stay. We ended up seeing two rooms: our original room was not one of the updated ones and had some cleanliness issues. There were nail polish stains on the floor, the floor of the shower was pretty dingy, and the wash-towel...

"Checking in was simple, stayed in a balcony King bed room for the weekend. Kitchen was clean room was clean and balcony was formidable. Property was quiet and right off the thruway into Paso Robles wine country. Housekeeping was amazing asking before cleaning the room if we needed anything before we headed out for some wine tours. It was my wife’s birthday weekend so definitely very pleasant weekend stay."
