"The hotel is very nice and I really enjoyed my stay. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a very good view. The staff were also friendly and helpful. The location is good; while it requires a short walk from the station, this distance keeps the hotel quiet. Breakfast was okay, though the selection was limited. I appreciated the complimentary snacks and soft drinks in the room. They also offer free afternoon tea cakes, which I didn't get to try since I was out. Overall, it is a nice hotel."

"The location was superb as it was literally a minute walk from the Grindewald station, and it's on the quieter side of the town. Staff were excellent, professional, helpful with advice. The breakfast was superb with a great variety and plenty of comfortable seating. The main issue was the hair found on blankets and in bathtub (photos taken, clearly not mine as I found them on arrival), there was also a red stain on one of the face washers/towels. "Tout a été excellent. Nourriture, emplacement , autobus. Petite note: nous sommes non fumeurs. Notre chambre était située directement au dessus de la terrasse du resto. Évidemment nous voulions avec vue sur le lac. Nous dormons toujours la fenêtre porte ouverte. En soirée vers les 22-23 heures la fumée des fumeurs de la terrasses est très très désagréable . Nous avons fermé notre porte. Une chance qu’il ne faisait pas chaud."

"Pros: Location very close to station. Breakfast was good with a large spread. Cons: Room gets very hot and stuffy and staff was no help in providing a fan, opening windows at night only did so much. Room and building very outdated, had one plug in the room, staircase up no lights and dark, stained carpets. Bathtub is a hazard, very high step in/out with no railing to hold onto."
