"First of all they did a cute towel cake with flowers on the bed for my boyfriend’s birthday. Originally I had booked a restaurant off site for his birthday but the food was actually so good that we just ate at the restaurants at the all inclusive. There was also a jacuzzi on the balcony which we weren’t sure was included with all bookings but we were super happy to have it. The pools are very clean and maintained well - lots of employees walking around cleaning and checking for cleanliness. All the people working there were friendly and really helpful and happy. We tipped about 20 MXN to employees there. The pools were so relaxing and I honestly have a hard time saying anything negative. We’ll definitely be coming back. I also heard that management switched recently so older reviews may be reflecting the old management? Overall, super impressed."

"Our room was clean, spacious and we had a beautiful view of the ocean and the sunset. The food was very delicious. We especially loved the chef's dinner as well as the special event that we attended. Highly recommend Insu, the rooftop bar with excellent food and beautiful view. The staff were friendly, happy and some are top notch! The shows are at the sister resort, Emotions. Some were really good and some were just ok. My main complaint is on the maintenance piece. The filtered water machine ran out of water and we called front desk but this wasn't replaced until 12 hours later. The housekeeping didn't always replace the food and drinks. The water pressure in the room was not good. We could not even use the tub because it would have taken too long to fill it up. "

"It was such a great resort to stay at. I’ve been to a few resorts now and honestly can say this is our favourite one. The food was great, lots of options. The staff really took care of you. Will be using Riu for all of our next vacations for sure!"

"The food was wonderful. The staff were friendly. It is a “private residence” share so they push for buying in. Once that is over, the beach and pool are top notch. You also have access to the sister resort next door which is more family oriented. Overall it was a great experience. We would go back. "
