Great hotel room, clean with great view of the city from above. Friendly staff, easy check-in and check-out. Beautiful village.

The hotel is having building work done which was not disclosed
Drilling and hammering started at 730am
Do not visit the hotel!!
Terrible noise and no one at reception until after midday
Freshly updated boutique hotel, a great place to relax. Quiet & great size room and bathroom, with comfortable king size bed. Good location in the small town of Bakewell. Parking was across the street, and reception organised a parking pass at a discounted rate when we checked in. Shops, pubs and restaurants all walking distance. Enjoyed our 2 night stay and would stay again.
Service does not match the quality of the facility
A lovely new hotel with excellent facilities.
BUT, the attitude of the staff was atrocious; from the surliness of the receptionist to the slow restaurant staff and the exorbitant breakfast.
All these factors are typical of Bakewell, as a whole, whose existence seems to be solely to rip off the multitude of tourists. It will be Buxton for me next time I stay in the Derbyshire Dales!
Great location. Our room was beautiful, spotlessly clean with great little extras. Huge, comfortable bed, no outside noise all Created a great nights sleep.
Beautiful hotel, rooms were finished to a high standard with lovely touches making it a perfect stay.
Continental breakfast was included in our room rate and was great, plenty of choice.
Staff were super friendly and helpful
We will definitely stay again.
Lovely hotel - very big and comfy bed. Only had a sausage sandwich for breakfast but was lovely . Would have like the checkout to have been at 11 so we could freshen up after breakfast before leaving.
Location is really perfect, the hotel and the guest rooms are truly well appointed. The Haddon room is really awesome. Staff were great and easy to deal with, great communication prior to staying. Continental Breakfast buffet inclusive with the booking was fine for us. Parking (run by the local council) is directly outside the hotel, at a cost of £1 overnight then hourly fees after 8am. The hotel can arrange a 3 day parking pass for £10.
We would definitely return to this hotel and Bakewell to enjoy some Pudding :-)
