"Chalet dated but very clean and well equipt. Fabulous location and we sat outside on the decking frequently. Very close to a main trainline into London but we knew this as visiting friends having previously lived in Broxbourne. Didn't bother us. Sofa not comfortable to sit & enjoy TV. Very hard. ..."

Didn't stay to look. Found another hotel and left. Soooo disappointing. I will be applying for a refund. Aircon that doesn't heat? What a joke!

Location close to family in Royston so didn’t visit Baldock

Its ok if you have a car, Henlow nearby 10/15min drive has a couple of lovely larger pubs, although The Jester has a bar itself and a lovely garden if you do not want to go out. There are a couple of pubs about 10mins walk away.

This little hotel could be so so much better if some money was spent on it , a massive refurbishment is needed in the bedrooms, but you can tell the staff (especially Graham) all love working there & are very loyal as too are the customers
