"The hotel is very dated even the elevator and use of actual keys to open and unlock the room door. The room was extremely hot as there was no air conditioning in the room and the temperature was above 23*C even went up to 26*C and the hotel only provided a small fan. The window barely opens to let air in, it was ver uncomfortable to sleep for the two nights we stayed there. The breakfast was fresh not a lot of choices as you order from the menu. The room was clean and the location good."

"We had a lovely stay at the clayton hotel my only bad things i would say is that the room was so hot there was a fan but it made no difference as soon as we walked into the room the heat hit you obviously this is because of the warm weather we have had and that the rooms we were in were directly hit by the sun all day it was so hard to sleep even my wee one didnt sleep and I couldn't open the window as it was a ground floor room and was afraid of leaving the window open all night also the room...

"What an awesome hotel. Great location. Helpful staff , food was excellent both bar and breakfast. Kept our bags after checkout. Nothing bad to say. I'm just upset I couldn't get a second night at the end of the week. Booked fully and now I understand why."

"Perfectly placed on the outskirts of the action but within easy walking distance to a TON of things to see and do. Place is efficient, if small. Americans are used to having our space, but it didn’t take long to acclimate. The breakfast was FABULOUS! The staff, very helpful. Would definitely stay again."

"This was my favorite stay of my trip. The staff was fabulous from check in to check out. When I did have an issue, they worked to quickly resolve it and exceeded my expectations making it right. The breakfast was also excellent, both in variety and quality. I will absolutely stay here again when I am in the area."

"The room was spacious, clean and everything we needed was supplied. If you are looking to purchase the breakfast there check the menu beforehand. It is very, very small. 4 items I believe. I am vegan and there was absolutely nothing on the menu for me. Nothing vegetarian either. Having said that there are numerous places nearby to get breakfast. Overall a good stay."

"Overall, I loved the hotel - the look, the bar and restaurant, the guitars to borrowed, the location. I didn’t like some things about the room - mainly what I would call an open floor plan bathroom - not a fan of the clear shower out in the room (although there is a curtain for privacy) the counter the length of the room with the sink in it, made the whole room feel cluttered. At least the toilet was more private."
