"This place was wonderful. The staff were very helpful. The food was great! The location was perfect - right near the pier and town and several walking paths. The building itself was very charming and recently renovated."

"I found the property sub par in comparison to several others we visited in Scotland. The bathroom was a bit moldy/dirty. The bedding smelled “sour” and the bed was lumpy and crooked. There was an overall mustiness in the room. The staff were not unfriendly but not overly kind or helpful. The food was edible but I wouldn’t go out of my way to spend money there again."

"This was a good value nice pub with good rooms dinning and breakfast. Nice beer snd food. Not fancy fine dinning but just what I wanted after a long walk. I would definitely stay there again."

"Just what we needed for a weekend. Clean comfortable room. No sittng / lounge area as it is a pub! A bit noisy Saturday night, but we had been warned and ear plugs were provided. If you are happy with basic rather than luxurious this is a good place to stay.Friendly helpful staff, and we enjoyed the Sunday quiz!. A good breakfast too."
