"This is a beautiful old hotel. The grounds are so well maintained and beautiful. We stayed in the Theodore Roosevelt room, which was lovely with a sitting room. My only complaint was that the couch and chair were not usable. They were extremely uncomfortable., so we didnt really get to enjoy the sitting room."

"Clean and quiet property. Beautiful views. Close to the caverns and downtown Luray. Short drive to the National Park. Pool wasn't open yet, but looked clean with plenty of chairs. No frills, but that's okay. I was looking for a clean, safe, quiet place to stay to go hiking, not to hang out at the hotel. Brought my own Kurig for my room and muffins & protein bars for breakfast. Nice staff. Shiva was nice and let me keep my car in the lot after checkout while we took our other car to the trails...

Great fire pit and when you lay in bed you just see the trees in the woods. It just was amazing. It might be nicer if there was a blackout area where you can see the stars, and if there was an extra blanket, but otherwise absolutely no complaints. Great communication with the host.
