"Nice and comfortable stay. Clean room. About 15-20 minutes slow walk to main tourist area (Wolf Street). Excellent staff, friendly and helpful. Great restaurant (Keg), try the Blackened Chicken or the Chicken Mushroom. Order breakfast from the menu, not the buffet (food not even warm!). Overall, highly recommended!"
"Great rustic hotel. Enjoyed the lobby! Absolutely loved the hot tub! Such a great area to relax after long days of hiking/walking. Pretty far and steep walk back to hotel from downtown, but the bus stop is right in front on the road. Often crowded bus on the way back to the hotel in the evenings. Bus comes about every 20 min and you have a schedule. Nice comfortable room with a fireplace but it was summer so did not get to enjoy. Room smelled like the fireplace so that wasn’t my favorite. Shower was so confusing to work! After 4 nights, still would get water everywhere! Comfortable stay. Parking was limited but it mostly wasn’t a problem. Staff were very kind and helpful. They loaned out bear spray to us. Overall good stay."
"We stayed here 45 years ago for our honeymoon and have been back a few times since. It is by far a superior experience. They have kept the chalets up-to-date and well appointed.
For us it was a great trip down memory lane. A tad-expensive in my opinion, but for us the memories are priceless priceless."
