Great hotel. Good location. Near shopping, restaurants and public transport.
Food of excellent quality - breakfast, room service and the Thai restaurant on 4th floor. We also dined at Spectrum on New Year's Eve which was VERY expensive but the food was superb and the theatrical presentation was wonderful.
The rooftop bar (two floors) is very cool and a nice way to end an evening. The NY Eve party was a bit lame though. The music wasn't good for dancing so it was a damp squib. It could have been so much better.
The pool is a godsend after a day out on Bangkok's busy and noisy streets. Very pleasant vibe with plenty of greenery.
All staff very friendly and helpful.
Rooms are spacious and the beds are HUGE. Great aircon and bathrooms. Only complaints are:
1. Lack of storage. All fine for a single man with suits, shirts etc but not enough space for 2 people and no hangers that can hold dresses. Also, everything on shelves is open to view. Who wants to see people's underwear???
2. Lack of privacy in the bathroom. Ok for a long married couple but not ideal for a romantic trip for a new couple!!!
But overall I would 100% recommend this hotel as a great place to stay in Bangkok.
