Loved this unique experience! It did get cold towards the end of our stay, but that's because it was October and we got caught in the rain on a hike. They had tons of blankets and two heaters that helped a lot. If a dryer was available for wet clothes, that would've been outstanding. Also, our hiking ...

Edenbrook Motel
This motel has been very well maintained through the years. There were some nice updates and it was obvious there is a high standard of cleanliness. It is close to downtown and also the Acadia shuttle. We walked to breakfast one morning.

Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Ellsworth / Bar Harbor
Breakfast when prepared by Terry! She makes breakfast wonderful and memorable. I'm very thankful that she made sure that I had gluten-free bread or muffins, or bagels each day. I felt that my presence at the hotel was valued by her! I will be booking another visit in September because of this!
