Great early check in. Great communication. The property is noisy- there was a baby staying in an ajoining property which cannot be predicted. Its not luxury, but it is amazing value for money. It was clean. Plenty of towels. Comfy bed. Free tea, coffee and snacks!! Use the metro at the bottom of the hill- do not venture up into the ghetto at night!

Not recommendable

Small room with worn down furniture, cockroaches and bars for the small windows. No fire exit. We found another place because of the cockroaches. I would definitely not go there again.

The hotel was extremely basic with no special amenities. There wasn’t even a kettle, and although there was a hot water dispenser in the room, there were no cups or coffee provided. The bathroom and other areas showed signs of poor maintenance. Additionally, since it was an online hotel with no on-site reception, support was unapproachable. The main issue was the Wi-Fi: multiple passwords were given, none of them worked, and I had to rely on mobile data. This led to extra costs and a lot of stress, especially since the doors were app-controlled and I couldn’t get in at times. Overall, the experience was very frustrating and disappointing.

Terrible olor a humedad

No cumple un mínimo de salubridad. El olor a humedad era tremendo y el colchón incómodo. Lo único positivo es el baño que sí estaba reformado. Lo llaman hotel, pero es un b&b terrible y en una mala zona, un local tipo sótano con 4 habitaciones.

Ha una posizione vicino ad una entrata della metro, il quartiere è tutto sommato tranquillo e fuori dalle aree turistiche più caotiche. Il personale è gentile e disponibile. L'unico appunto che mi sento di fare è sui rumori: Le camere sono tutte collegate ad un corridoio dove è presente anche la cucina e l'ingresso. Si sente ogni singola persona che entra, esce ed adopera la cucina.

We hebben hier een prettig verblijf gehad. De kamer was schoon, de airco was een life-saver en de douch was goed. De kamer werd elke dag netjes schoongemaakt en het bed werd verschoont wat fijn was:) De kamer was echter iets kleiner dan we hadden verwacht en de directe omgeving was niet heel gezellig. Al met al, hebben we hier een fijne ervaring gehad!

Not impressed at all

The price for this hotel was cheap but we were expecting a little more based on the word “boutique” in the hotels name and the pictures. The room is very small, not much space to put belongings. It didn’t smell great. Shower was abysmal, can’t believe it hasn’t been replaced. Most fixtures were worn down. Felt jail-cell like. Doors are thin as can be so if there is anyone in the hallway, you will hear their conversation. We heard one lady on the phone at 2am and could even hear the person on the phone! There’s no check in counter or person to greet you. It’s the most no-frills lodging you will have. If this is what you need/want then fine. But for $20-40 more you could be in a proper hotel.

The apartment was located in a noisy but fun neighbourhood, it had easy access to metro line L1 and L9 (so great connection with BCN airport) as they were just a few minutes walk from there. Communication with the host was also easy, he responded to our email really quickly. The room itself was small but comfortable, it was pretty clean. The only problem we had was that there were no windows, only a glass door with a really small area we didn't even have access to, so air circulation was a problem in the flat. Overall it is a cheap stay for those who want to spend most of their time exploring the city, we had a great time in Barcelona.
