"The house had a welcoming feel, breakfast was delicious (small bowl of fruit was very generous - no idea what size the large one would be!). And in the lounge there's a beautiful Blüthner grand piano, which for me was the icing on the cake. Or even the cake itself..."

Overall the whole stay was very pleasant , the staff were very friendly without being overly so. Would definitely go back if we were in the area."

"Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall...

This place is great, not the best aesthetically but a great place to stay.. the one staff member there (name is calvin btw) is an absolute legend, very welcoming, always doing his best to help out in anyway and a generally all round nice guy.. was an absolute pleasure to stay here.. will definitely be back very soon!! "We were made very welcome! The room was clean and comfortable - brilliant shower! Basic breakfast provided but it was all we needed. Bar times and fire escapes explained. Staff were very helpful when I realised we`d left something behind after checking out. Very cosy bar. "
