Upon Check in, the front desk clerk told my boyfriend his card was declined. She told him in a « not so gentle » manner. She then proceeded in charging the « damage deposit » manually onto his card. Then, she told him once again, that the card was declined for the full payment. Tho she had just charged the card for the damage deposit.
We asked her to try manually. It went through.
There was bad smells in the hallways.
Room 219: had no cups for the coffee maker. The bathroom door kept getting stuck on the bathroom floor. It looked like the floor was water damage and bulging up.
The tub was made in a way that when we stepped in, our feet would slip every time. (Round edges in the bottom)
The tv remote control was broken which made turning on the tv very difficult. The end cover was missing and the infrared light could not communicate with the tv unit. The hôtel tried fixing it with tape instead of replacing the remote control entire.
The bed headboard had hand prints all over it.
Although we had asked for room attendant service on our first day, no one came by to replenish our toiletries or towels.
