"The positives: Clean bed, linens and overall general upkeep was good. The negatives: Some standard items that I would have expected were missing. There was no full length mirror in the room to double check your outfit before heading out. I also didn't an ironing board or iron but this might be available at the front desk, I didn't ask as I didn't need it. "Good quality for the price. Nice location close to Port of Orillia and downtown which are just a few minutes drive away. Although they are in the process of a refresh, the older rooms are of high quality ie solid oak furniture, quite large and have a really nice full kitchenette w granite countertops. The breakfast was nice enough. Good coffee. The pool is quite small so mostly for splashing. A few of the corners/under the chair pillows could use a better vacuum and in need of new pillows, but...

"I mean it's a dorm so not a hotel but for the price worth it. Only thing is if someone is staying across the hall from you and they're talking in their living room it's super easy to hear. Also there are TVs but make sure to bring a laptop with an HDMI cable to plug into if you want to watch anything as there is no cable but free internet"

"The walls in the room, especially the bathroom, were dirty. Splashes of... dirt and droplets everywhere. There wasn't really anywhere to hang a hand or face towel im the bathroom, either. The doors of the rooms were the worst part of the whole thing. Every door slammed loudly when it closed, and blocked about as much sound as a piece of paper. "We really enjoyed our stay at breakfast we thought it was odd no toaster when we checked out with the manager very nice and professional lady . We mentioned that and she said it was in the other room. She even offered to make us toast to go!!! Wow now that service…thank you so very much will absolutely stay again if we are in that area..lots of safe parking..as well"
