"Our host was extremely helpful and allowed us to check-in early. He recommended eateries round about and gave us a discount at the hotel restaurant where we had a nice lunch. All the staff were helpful and courteous, and all spoke excellent English. The sitting room of the lobby is very pleasant. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet despite being very close to one of the main squares: a very convenient location, from which we were able to walk to all the sites we wanted to see in Bologna."

"I really liked the location - it’s central but not too busy. It is on a side street though in the university area so can seem a bit rowdy at times. The bed was comfortable and hotel staff helpful. However I would’ve expected better amenities from a 4 star hotel - there was no ironing facilities and had to ask a few times for shower gel to be replaced. The hotel seemed a bit dated and perhaps had been refurbished from a smaller scale b&b before? Also slightly outrageous to charge €9 per day just...

"Fantastic central location! Wonderful view from the balcony of our ‘family room’. No on-site reception, but prompt and friendly responses to all requests through WhatsApp. They do clearly state their limited reception hours but I got responses to concerns right away.
