"On our first visit to Bologna we figured we would stay at the hotel Metropolitan because of its location in the city as it was fairly central to all the interesting areas and gave us a great place to start to explore from. One thing to note is that it is a bit of a walk from the train station, but the walk is nice and is mostly under porticoes which made it much more enjoyable. "Good hostel. Location was about 10-15 minute walk from what would be considered the centre (Piazza Maggiore) and on quite a busy street - not reflected in the noise levels though. I think having physical, metal keys added to the noise because people were banging them on the door when trying to open it etc. other than that, noise levels were good.
