"Staying in a cave room but having an entryway in the room with windows out on the gorgeous Matera scenery is perfect. We also had a porch with chairs to sit outside. The breakfast was amazing! Fresh and delicious food served to us by the most welcoming people you could ask for, Angela and Agnese. We also had a wonderful piano player, Gianni, at breakfast every day - now that's a first for us!. If we went back to Matera, which we hope to do some day, we would stay here again. The only negative is...

"I have wanted to stay in the Matera caves for many years in coming to italy and having finally got here, not sure why it took so long. Matera is one of the most beautiful places i have ever been and this was the perfect accommodation. Stayed in a cave suite which was a unique experience, very comfortable and spacious. The parking is close enough and we had no problem getting to the property although they will assist if needed. Breakfast was varied and served in a lovely area past reception:...

"Well located, accessible by car. We were lucky that were able to park our car right in front of the property for EuR 15 per night. The owner Michelle was extremely friendly and nice. Gave us all the directions, as well as recommendations of places to go, see, and eat. A true great host. The accommodations at on the basic side, but well located to visit the old City by foot. It’s also very close to the main pedestrian area. We truly enjoyed our stay. It was a great value. "
