"On arrival no staff just a pin number sent to access room. On entering i sat on mattress and nearly fell through as its so thin and missing so many springs plus springs went straight into bottom. The tiny light on wall had no bulb in and was rusty and dirty. Room was dirty no wonder it was £30 for a night"

The street is busy, with cars and people using it all night, nothing loud, just enough background noise to put you to sleep. "Lovely old pub with stylish, well-equipped rooms. The bed was very comfortable and the en-suite was a good size. All the staff were great; helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was very good. We really enjoyed ourselves. "

TV is streaming only - no regular TV channels. Could adjust the room temperature via the radiator dial. The shower is in the room, not in a separate bathroom. It didn't bother me, but it's unusual.
