"Very disappointed with my stay at Americas Best Inn in Bastrop. My room had rust around the sink and bathtub drains, buildup on the shower head, and hair left in the tub. The front desk showed me four other rooms, but every one had the same issues. This wasn’t a one-room problem—it appeared to be a property-wide cleanliness and maintenance issue. Guests deserve better."

"The staff was very friendly.but did not follow through on request. The water was cold for two days I went to the front desk to inform them how uncomfortable it was to take a shower in cold water. Also while at the desk another customer was there complaining about the cold water. It was on the second evening the water came up to Luke warm. I didn’t expect that the price that I paid for the two rooms to be $140 per night."

"Room wasn’t bad but the only issue was the water came out looking yellowish and the entire hotel smelled like mold. Other than that everything else was great ."

"We were in town for a wedding and spent one night at the Hamilton house inn. Our room was, clean, comfortable and extremely quiet. Shawn cooked us French toast, sausage, and grits for breakfast. It was delicious. If we ever return to Monroe, we will stay again. 5 stars!"

"I’ve stayed at this property many times. It’s extremely aesthetically appealing and the staff are super friendly but that’s as far as it goes. It’s nothing really special about or comes with the hotel. Basic amenities, no free breakfast, or no pool. And for the price you pay, you'd think….but nope, nothing. Actually, this is probably the nicest hotel in this dead town. EXTREMELY expensive for the area though. Anyway, it’s 2 bars on the property, 1 restaurant (entirely gluten free apparently),...

"Great location! Easy access to the interstate and next door to Surge Entertainment Complex. Friendly staff, snacks for purchase in the lobby, and delicious free morning coffee with half & half and creamers. Free bottled water at check-in. Breakfast buffet was $15 (it was decent). "The property was well maintained, and my room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, and the overall experience was positive. My only complaint was that the air conditioning unit was quite loud, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying there again."

Noise started early in the morning with no warning or concern from the staff.
