"Do not stay in a ground floor room. I was given a ground floor room. It was incredibly noisy all night with traffic, rubbish clearance, people going back from the pub. It was also very dingy as it was impossible to open the curtains without allowing everyone walking past to look.into the room. Given the price of the hotel it was a very disappointing experience."

"we found a full fingernail in the bed when we arrived, as well as one of the coffee mugs for us to use dirty. when we brought the fingernail and dirty mug downstairs to tell staff, we were only offered a complimentary fizzy drink. i had to ask to have sheets changed, and they still were not changed when we came back to the property hours later."

"The staff was exceptional! They were very friendly and super helpful.
The older lady at the desk was wonderful and the younger lady who attended the kitchen and made up the rooms was phenomenal! ❣️
Thank you for a great stay.
I will say the lack of air con was quite hard to handle as we were visiting July 7 to 9 and it was sweltering. (I understand that is not the norm )"

Hotel classico inglese con colazione inclusa, variegata e buona. Avrei gradito qualcosa in più di dolce. Bollitore in camera. Camera non troppo spaziosa ma dotata di tutti i conforts necessari, Bagno ok con prodotti per lavarsi in comodi dispensers. Personale gentilissimo, Check in e check out veloci. Nella struttura è presente un bar e un ristorante...

"The location is perfect; everything is literally few minutes away. We really enjoyed being in the center. The staff is very helpful and the rooms are very clean. We did not try the breakfast so we cannot assess. The only downside are the stairs which are kind of narrow and steep, so we had to be careful climbing them up and down. But that is the case with all the historic properties in Bath.
Highly recommended"

"For older folks traveling from other places carrying heavy luggage, not being able to hold luggage in the room upon early arrival is a pain. Also, if not from Europe cells phones and internet don't work well so not being able to contact proprietors can be a problem. If you are able to contact them there's always an excuse as to why the response was late. A younger person would likely appreciate the flat more. Having said all that, the flat was centrally located to the action, was well stocked...
