"We loved our stay at Hotel St. Patrice! This historic building has a lot of character and the owners are lovely and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious and quiet and the bed was comfortable. It’s is well located near many restaurants and attractions in the lovely little town of Bayeux. We did the breakfast one of the mornings and it was delicious and a good value. Only thing to be aware of is they close from 12-4 each day. Unfortunately we arrived just after noon and had to carry our bags...

"Le Castel is situated in a great spot to get to if you arrive by train to Bayeux. It is only about 10min . It is located to Vieux Centre ville/ downtown , steps to the Bayeux Cathedral and restaurants. While location was great- our room needed better ventilation ( it was musty smelling) and the carpeting was quite soiled. The room needed updating overall. Our TV did not work, there is no mini fridge and no shampoo/conditioner. Also note- there is no air conditioning. It does have some charm...

"Hotel is in a great location with nearby parking, restaurants and shops. Breakfast had many choices and the food was exceptional. Room was clean and comfortable. Overall, the staff was great except for one at the front desk who was not helpful when asked about restaurants and reservations."

"The setting was beautiful, and the room was very clean. The grounds were very well kept. Gabrielle was extremely helpful. The breakfast offering was more than adequate with lots of choice. The only real downside from my point of view was the limited menu available in the evenings, however the food they did provide was excellent quality. I would happily book again."

"The Chateau is very charming and quaint. The rooms don’t offer air conditioning but they provided fans. Initially the fan we had was blowing heat and the staff couldn’t locate a different one for us so we saw them assembling something at registration and when we returned to our room later there was a brand new, better fan waiting for us. "I would have liked to know that the safes in the rooms were not in working order. That was frustrating. The only other complaint was the lack of electrical outlets in the room. Other than that, the hotel, staff, grounds, and staff were lovely. "
