"The first thing you notice when you walk into the hotel is how great it smells. Always a plus in my book. Then you hear and see the waterfall. The staff were so kind and helpful. My room was supposed to be a room with a bay facing view. (Highly recommend. Can watch the sun rise) We were not given that, but the staff quickly helped us change rooms. The grounds were gorgeous and impeccable. The amount of staff taking care of the grounds was incredible.
My only complaint about this hotel is that the rooms are very dated. Rugs and bed and bedding were not as I expected after looking at how the grounds looked.
This area was very close to the bay and the ocean. We felt safe walking around and there were many places to find to eat and drink.
I would stay here again for the location and the grounds but not for the outdated rooms and carpet."
