"The room was perfect for a solo traveler. I had a great view of Lake Lucerne. The room was soundproof so I did not even hear the wedding reception that was going on right below me. The staff go the extra mile to help with any request. The ferry arrives twice per hour and there is a bus to Weggis for light shopping. Paddle boards are available and there are a few stairs to the water. Highly recommend!"

Be aware most room do not have an unrestricted view of the lake due to a property in front of the hotel. Breakfast is taken across the road at the old hotel, but is good. The restaurant is in the same location across the road and we had a reasonable meal there. There is also a good Brazilian restaurant nearby. Be aware...

"This is a gem! Great location and a beautiful place that retains the charm of its age but is updated to be clean and comfortable for modern use. Everyone on staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast excellent with beautiful porch for outside eating. If you are driving let them know when you book your room and they will reserve you a parking spot conveniently located across the street. The area of Weggis alongwith nearby villages etc is exceptional and do beautiful, away from the main tourist circuit. The rooms were very comfortable. "Wow such a stunning location right on lake Luzern. We had lakefront room with balcony. Beautiful location about 15 minutes drive outside of downtown Luzern. It was too cold to use the pool but they have a nice relaxing wellness center with sauna. They have an outdoor hot tub but apparently you had to reserve in advance (which was not explained when we made reservation) so unfortunately we were not able to use.
