"Absolutely stunning property for those who like a bit of history. Host was so accommodating to our needs. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we felt so relaxed making the most of the roll top bath. Breakfast was top drawer (loved the sausages especially). Nothing to fault. We’re already booked in for next year!"

"The room was very clean.. Staff excellent.. Lovely to see the castle and grounds the following morning.. Check out time of 10.am felt rather rushed, 10.30 would be much better."

"The room was clean, properly equipped and given it's above a busy pub and in a very old building, it was warm and reasonably quiet. Nice meal in the restaurant in the evening. Good wine, food and setvice."
