"Detroit is full of beautiful old buildings and this is a great one, run by the same woman who worked on its renovation. I stayed in the Dahlia room, which has a jacuzzi and lovely fireplace. The bed was extremely comfortable. Morning coffee is served in a gorgeous parlor and solarium, and the proprietors are very attentive and helpful. "

"The room was spectacular - I stayed in the Parlor room on the 12th floor. I had a view of Comerica Park and Ford Field. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the restaurants were all amazing (I visited all three). I would highly recommend this hotel! The only downside is there was not a fridge in my room, but it was not advertised that there was one. Just keep this is mind."

"Very nice apartment style rooms. It has all the amenities of gone. Washer and dryer along with silverware plates drinking glasses shot glasses. Coffee maker, and a coffee grinder. Fantastic view. comfortable beds awesome bathroom with shower. Great security and valet parking on site. Restaurants and bars located within the hotel and directly attached next door. "We had a lovely stay! The hotel is within walking distance to many great restaurants and the magic stick theater. The bar was beautiful and the bar staff are very knowledgeable. We will stay here again."

"Great location, clean hotel and friendly, helpful staff. Bed was great, bathroom was a good size. No shower cap with the toiletries, if that's important to you. Parking was a bit pricey at $55 US/night for valet. The nearest self park is 3 minutes walk from the hotel. After checking parking reviews in the area, went with the valet option since I was only there one night. There are also some good food options within walking distance."
