![Beckhole station site/remains. View SW, to the end of the line, which had until 1865 been the upper end of a rope-worked incline section of the Grosmont - Pickering section of the 1836 Whitby & Pickering Railway - horse-worked. In 1865 the NER built a deviation from Grosmont to replace the incline, but the stub to Beckhole was retained, for goods working, also a passenger service in summer 1908-1914. Five Star Stays
Exceptionally well decorated and beautiful home to explore the local area. Very welcoming on reception and everything you could need. Only minor gripe was the upstairs shower that was either boiling hot or freezing cold with no in between but sort that and this place is perfect.

The Sands - Sea Front Apartments
What a beautiful place to stay on the North Bay of Scarborough and threturnnbus services in to Scarborough South Bay are every 10-15mins. Very much enjoyed our stay.

The only 1 thing i would of liked would have been a fridge but apart from that it was excellent.
