"A nice looking place with gorgeous grounds. I had a room in the main building which was OK but you can hear the TV in the room next door. The window wouldn’t close (thankfully it wasn’t cold), the bathroom door didn’t close properly and the bathroom sink tap is just odd. It looks the part but could do with some effort on the details as it isn’t exactly cheap. Not a bad stay at all but not sure I would rush back."

"The staff are everything at this place. If anyone should write a handbook on how to do hospitality it’s these guys. From the moment we arrived at a packed pub it was clear that they would do anything. They opened up another part of the pub for us just so we could get food and slotted us in. "Wasn’t find and easy parking "

"The bed and breakfast accommodation was very nice, clean tidy and well presented. Had a meal in the main pub which was also very nice. Breakfast (cooked English) was served which again was freshly prepared and a choice of cereals was also available."
