"Lovely well maintained modern rooms with sparkling bathroom and plenty of hot water for great shower. Nice to see eco facilities. Breakfast and dinner were superb and akin to gastro pub quality and generously portioned. We wouldn’t hesitate to return next time we visit family in the area. Staff were friendly and accommodating at all times."

"A very pleasant surprise as a solo guest. Needed an overnight stay for an event in Abergavenny, went with no expectations, just needed a comfortable, clean place and that's what I got. Yes the place needs a bit of tidying up, decorating, updating of furniture but that doesn't bother me as long as everything works for it's purpose which it did. "Nice looking hotel in a lovely location. It is conveniently located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park making it ideal to get out and about either walking, hiking, and cycling in the surrounding area.
Waterfall country is about a 30 minute drive away.
Very friendly and polite staff.
Food was on the slightly pricey side but it was excellent quality.
Can’t comment on the pool, spa or gym facilities as we did not use them.
The hotel ceilings as well as the room we stayed in...
