A well equipped room with an excellent bed, large TV, fridge and good shower. The room was tastefully decorated and of a decent size. I really appreciated the welcome gifts of biscuits, water and milk too. Breakfast was excellent and a very generous portion. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. I would also recommend the evening meals and good selection of ales - both of which were high quality.

Outstanding stay, food and company.

Amazing place and pub/overnight stay. This is a little gem and the owners and staff should be proud of the great pub and guest rooms they run. The locals are friendly and nice, and this pub is at the heart of the community as it should be. Anyone who wants fantastic food, great staff and company needing a room or meal within 20 miles of this place should divert there. I cannot commend this establishment enough. I travel all over the UK with my job, and this is by fsr my favourite place to stay bar none.

Amazing staff food beers and room. As a business traveler I’m helping the smaller businesses rather than the larger corporate ones. The food was amazing- saw local fish monger deliver van so no cash and carry food here. Beer selection was fantastic with local craft beers 🍺. Only a few rooms so don’t miss out

Our room was exceptionally comfortable and impeccably clean, with a cozy bed that ensured a great night's sleep.  Additionally, our interactions with Monika were outstanding, and Rob and Maggie made us feel truly at home.  The Full Welsh Breakfast Maggie prepared was exceptionally delicious!  I highly recommend this Inn and would return if the chance presented itself.

This was booked for my Elderly Parents, they thoroughly enjoyed there stay, lovely clean room , Room came with on suite, beautiful views, highly recommend, will definitely book for the next time we go out on a night out in Cardiff.

A very popular pub , restaurant and guest house. I’ve been here three times in the last few months and look for a reservation every time I’m working in the area. Just stayed over a damp wet Wednesday night and the place was bursting which was amazing to see. I recommend booking a table for food as there is not much of a chance to walk in . The rooms are clean & comfortable and has chairs and a desk I can work from if needed. Breakfast which is ordered the night before is wonderful, flavoursome and filling. As before , my first choice when working in the area.

A one night stay

We had a very enjoyable stay after a good family party at the pub. The attic room was very comfortable, though rather too warm. We had to open the windows, but the heavy rain that night meant we couldn't leave them open too much. Also, that heavy rain on the Velux windows did disturb us quite a bit. Nothing that the Inn could do about it, just lead to disturbed sleep.
