"We stayed at this hotel in order to visit the National Museum which is nearby. It is also close to Queen Street station. We enjoyed the overall ambience of the hotel and particularly liked the restaurant and the roof top bar. The staff of the restaurant/bar provided excellent service at dinner and breakfast. The range of choices available for breakfast was excellent. Our stay coincided with the heatwave but the room was air conditioned and cool."

"Room was overpriced for a concert, £400 per night when £220 normally. I’d expect an uplift but not this much. Room was worn, fan and windows dusty and unclean. Other room had no hot water in shower so unable to use. Noisy and limited sleep although bed comfortable No bar as closed. WiFi non existent and no 5G signal so if you want a quiet night and no shower then ideal place. Breakfast mediocre"

"Staff are really lovely and after having our first night disturbed with noisy neighbours and then the bin delivery the next night morning the staff are making sure my next stay is quiet. Excellent choice for breakfast and beautiful hotel. Ideal location in the city centre very close to train station. Very safe for single female."

"The hotel is tired and has an overwhelming smell of stale smoke in the hallways and bedrooms. Staff were friendly but miscommunication between the front desk and housekeeping, meant that requests were missed or forgotten. Best bit of the hotel is the bar and outdoor terrace. The pool was lovely but the changing rooms were not. Definitely gives off conference vibes - would not stay there for pleasure."

"Beautiful surroundings with an outside terrace overlooking a small lake, quiet. Staff very courteous and helpful. Grounds could do with a bit of tidying, cigarette stubs everywhere. Sink in bathroom problematic for shorter people, needed to stretch over the counter to use it, tap also very stiff to use and leaking. Enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again."

"Room was on 4th floor. Ok but issue with air conditioning. Fam had been provided which was sufficient during our stay but would not have been any good for hotter weather. Complimentary breakfast given by hotel because of failure with air conditioning"

"Room 101 - The bathroom was not clean at all - needed a good bleach - clean around the bath , taps, sink. Came back to the room and there was a terrible smell - called the maintenance and it was the backflow from the bath !!!!! Was a bit better after being cleaned but was not up to a standard expected!! Would not stay again in that condition!! The Hotel is in a great location for shopping etc!! The staff were very friendly and helpful - nothing ws too much trouble!!"
