"We were here on vacation. The location was great, right by the river. The restaurant was good (they seem to dry-age their beef themselves). Staff very helpful, facility very clean. Only drawback, no elevator (which was only an issue with luggage, but staff offered to carry bags up for us). We'd happily come back."

"First time staying at the hotel as I normally stay in Inverness when visiting on business. Only about 20-25 mins North of Inverness and easy to access. Friendly welcome from the reception and was taken to room by the staff. Room modern and looks to be recently revamped so it was spotless. Had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both times staff were friendly and food was good standard. Will use the hotel in future when in the area."

"The hotel itself is very old and the room reflects this. It is very small and cramped. The floor is sloped and there is very little sound proofing between the rooms. It is above the pub and you have steep stairs to climb without a lift. All of this would be fine except for the price does not reflect it. The breakfast was nice and the staff where friendly."

"On the plus side, the location is excellent and the staff was very polite and helpful. However, the in room safe did not function, there was a wad of hair in the shower, the top of the desk was nasty sticky and the reception area of the hotel had very soiled carpet as well as furniture that was very much past its expiration! Too much for this!"

"Our room was large, comfortable, and clean. The bed and pillows were comfy. Our room was on the third floor (no lift), but Andy grabbed two bags and helped us up. He was amazing on the desk and in the restaurant. Our meals were delicious. The provided breakfast was hot and made to order. Pete runs a nice, older, family-run inn and we would definitely stay again."
