The home was beautifully restored, and the decor was airy with a beach theme. The hosts were lovely and accommodating and were extremely helpful in guiding us around in the area. It's a nice touch to have a choice for breakfast either homemade (for a charge) or you get a generous voucher to use at three local eateries. The beach is a 15 min walk away, and you can also drive/uber if you don't want to walk. The beach is lovely with a residential boardwalk. The town is two blocks away as is the Bel Mar train station. You can also walk to the marina where there are lovely restaurants for waterfront dining. We took the train to a concert on the Asbury Park boardwalk which was only two stops away. If you stay here, you can easily take the train or uber over to Asbury if you want more vibrant nightlife or music events. The room was clean, and bed was comfortable, we stayed in room #4. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the porch and the rocking chairs. Five stars all around.

A beautiful stay in Belmar

This bed and breakfast is amazing. About a 10 minute walk to the beach, and 2 blocks from the Belmar Station. I stayed in Rambler 8 room. The room was spacious, modern, and so clean. A homemade breakfast is served every morning, along with coffee, orange juice and apple juice. Beach chairs, towels and tandem bikes are available to borrow. And they provide 2 beach tags to use while staying on the property. Dedra and Cord are so nice and accomodating.

You won’t regret booking a stay at Tandem Bike Inn

Reviews were not wrong (or lying) about this wonderful little Inn. My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at The Tandem Bike Inn. The hosts/owners, Dedra and Cord were wonderful. Dedra is super responsive to any questions or requests you may have about your stay. Which helped us out as I knew weed have a super late night check in, and they could accommodate that which was great! The place was immaculately clean! The room looked exactly like the pictures: beautiful! It was super close to Belmar Beach, literally walking distance. But they even have these adorable bikes you can borrow to ride there. That’s what we did and we had a blast. Breakfast was homemade and DELICIOUS!! My only complaint is that we only got to stay one night (that’s on us though, not on the Inn lol). Seriously, can’t recommend this place enough. It was my first time ever staying at a B&B, and I throughly enjoyed it!! Next time we visit in this area, you bet this is where I will be booking our stay! P. S. Be sure to try Dedra’s cookies! Soooo good!!

It is a beautiful cozy Inn. We loved the bicycle theme. Breakfast was delicious! easily located near restaurants and bars. Looking forward to going back.

A wonderful, sweet couple bout the Inn about a year ago and are working very had to keep their visitors happy. You can’t ask for much more than that in a B&B. That said. Our Sunday night stay on Labor Day weekend was over $500. Things have gotten rediculous for lodging on the East Coast—especially mid-Atlantic and Nottheast over the past five years. Rates are just insane from my point of view.

Most Relaxing Vacation!!!

If anyone is looking for an amazing summer beach vacation getaway, my wife and I highly recommend the Tandem Bike Inn and Belmar, NJ. Discovered this gem while searching for a beach vacation spot back in February. Every single review was perfect. 10/10, 5 stars out of 5. No complaints. Literally! The Inn and the Innkeepers, Dedra and Cord, lived up to and exceeded their reviews, not only with the accommodations of the Inn itself, but also with their hospitality, their friendliness, and oh their amazing breakfasts! On top of that, they provided beach tags, chairs, umbrellas, and bikes to get around town for for the week. With the bikes and the train, we only moved the car once during the week. Belmar is one of the best places to vacation on the Jersey Shore. The town, its beach, its boardwalk, and its restaurants are all top notch. It’s not the stereotypical “Jersey Shore” vibe. We knew that going in but were blown away at how relaxing and picturesque Belmar would really be. We enjoyed taking the NJ commuter trains up and down the coast to see the other Jersey Shore boardwalk towns that fit that stereotype. One of our most relaxing and enjoyable vacations ever. ❤️

Quiet and comfortable and excellent location

Excellent -- clean, comfortable, and quiet. Excellent food for breakfast. Excellent location. Very attentive owners but didn't see anybody the whole time we were there -- i.e. were not bothered by anyone, including other guests. It was very quiet and private.

Highly recommend

Cord and Deidre were very friendly. Breakfast every morning was delicious. The property was immaculate! Located in nice tree lined neighborhood a block and a half from the beach. Highly recommend!
