"Das Zimmer war absolut sauber und schön. Im Bad gibt es teilweise Schimmel an den Fugen in der Dusche, was wir aber nicht sonderlich tragisch fanden. Ansonsten war die Sauberkeit nämlich perfekt. Das Bett und die Kissen waren unglaublich gemütlich. Ich hab geschlafen wie ein Baby. Obwohl die Zimmer direkt über dem dazugehörigen Pub liegen, hat uns der Geräuschpegel gar nicht gestört. "The Mercure is an older and I suspect much grander hotel at one time. It has a sense of opulence about it with wide staircases, high ceilings and stained glass windows, however there are also signs of aging, i.e. worn carpets, old windows. I think it adds to the charm.
